Exciting creative learning in our Mandarin class

In our weekly Wednesday Chinese class, children are learning, designing, and building their inner image from the jigsaw puzzles they chose to play. They negotiated, divided and shared the pieces equally. They made patterns with the different colours the teacher asked them to find and talked about what they wanted to build. From the secret creature to the final product, all by themselves. “Look, I make a kangaroo! This is his front leg and this is his tail. They are short (front legs) and big (tail)” What a joy to see their progress and enthusiasm of learning how to deal with the day to day issues of ‘sharing’ a box of toys, all by themselves and in Chinese
