Kimmba Bilingual Learning Playgroup has long established itself as the leader of bilingual early education program for 0-6 years old in a fun and friendly playgroup environment since 2007. With the great demand from families seeking for long term nannies or baby sitters whom possess a bilingual skill, we are adding a new service to our existing playgroup setting: Bilingual Nanny/ Baby Sitter Consultancy.

Therefore, we have several new positions available for bilingual Mandarin, Spanish, German & French nannies, baby sitters, with a native language skill other than English for an immediate start.

Mandarin Playgroup Teachers

Kimmba is seeking several experienced, confident, enthusiastic part time / full time (negotiable) playgroup teachers who are either the native Mandarin speakers with minimum Children's Service Certificate III qualification, for an immediate starting term 3, 2011.

The successful applicant will be provided a structured playgroup program that is a stimulating, safe and engaging, early years program.

It is proposed that the program will initially have a maximum group size of 8 with one adult accompany one child in the group learning.

To be considered for the position you will need to possess the following:

• A minimum of Children's Service III Certificate or equivalent qualification from overseas or Australia.

• Current First Aid level 2, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates (preferred, not required).

• Police Records Check and a Working with Children Check.

• Two current, professional references who we can contact.

Bilingual Nannies:

Mandarin, Spanish, French, German or Japanese

Kimmba is also seeking qualified, confident, enthusiastic and experienced part time/ full time (negotiable) nannies / baby sitters who are native Mandarin, Spanish, German, French or Japanese speaker with/without Children’s Service Certificate III qualification or above, immediate start in the Eastern, South Eastern and bay side suburbs of Melbourne.

We are looking for Nannies who are:

• Native speakers of a language other than English, preferably Chinese, Spanish, German, French or Japanese speaking.(Registration for nanny who has language skills other than the ones listed above are welcome though the job opportunity would not be guaranteed for these languages)

• English proficiency or are currently studying English at a language schools or any local higher education institution.

• Valid study visa or any other type of traveling/working holiday visa that will allow you to travel and work in Australia or you are an Australian permanent resident or citizen

• With an Early childhood teaching qualification either from overseas or Australia (preferred, not required for baby sitters).

• Experience looking after children.

• Valid International/ Australia driving licence (preferred, not required for baby sitters)

And also possess the following:

• Current First Aid level 1, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates (preferred, not required).

• Police Records Check and a Working with Children Check.

• Current drivers license

• Two current, professional local written references who we can contact.

It would be beneficial if the applicant has experience in either Childcare, Teaching, Nanny or Nursing.

New Early Childhood Graduates or still studying towards it with native language skills of any of the above mentioned are strongly encouraged to apply.

Kimmba encourages playgroup teachers and nannies / baby sitters to undertake professional development and there are opportunities to further on job training and a carefully designed professional path will be offered to these right candidates to our newly established Bilingual Nanny Agency.

Candidates without native language skills or relevant qualification needn't apply.

Good salary package for the right candidate. Hourly rate starting between $18 to $35 per hour depending on the qualification & experience.
