Kimmba Bilingual Early Learning Centre, is a 40-place, long day early learning centre and sessional Kindergarten situated in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Our philosophy is to provide pre-school aged (0-6 years of age) children the chance to learn a foreign language of their choice: Mandarin, Spanish or German.
We offer the provision of a Montessori based program with the tool of a second language. The aim of providing a happy, safe, nurturing environment where children develop their self esteem and grow as individuals has influenced us to incorporate the Montessori philosophy.
Early Childhood Kindergarten Teacher
Kimmba is seeking a qualified, confident, enthusiastic and experienced Early Childhood Kindergarten Teacher with either a Montessori certificate or a native language for a Full-time/Part-time position (Negotiable).
The successful applicant will be provided and delivering an educational program that is a stimulating, safe and structured. It is proposed that the program will initially have a maximum group size of 12 with a full-time experienced assistant.
The objective of the position is to facilitate educative programs that will develop the skills and knowledge of the children according to their abilities and interests. To be considered for the position you will need to possess the following:
- An Early Childhood Teaching Degree or equivalent qualification.
- Current First Aid level 2, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates.
- Police Records Check and a Working with Children Check.
- A sound knowledge of the Victorian Early Years Learning Framework.
- Two current, professional references who we can contact.
- A Montessori certificate or a native language of Mandarin, Spanish or German.
It would be beneficial if the applicant has experience in either Teaching or Children's services. New graduates with native language skills of the above mentioned are encouraged to apply.

The successful applicant will be provided and delivering an structured playgroup program that is a stimulating, safe and engaging. It is proposed that the program will initially have a maximum group size of 10 with one adult accompany one child in the group learning.
The objective of the position is to facilitate educative programs that will develop the skills and knowledge of the children according to their abilities and interests. To be considered for the position you will need to possess the following:
