Dear Parents
Welcome back to another exciting term at KBLP, I can't believe that we are half way through the year, 2010. During the school break of term 2, all teachers got together and curriculum were planned, ideas, activities, knowledge and teaching methods were exchanged and discussed. All teachers were working tirelessly and sharing all their expertise with one another in a collaborative way of planning their individual lessons and of course, your children would benefit from such a high performing teaching team, which I am very proud to be working with.
Our focus topics for this semester will be animals' homes, colors, opposites & numbers. We've designed our program according to the age group of our children and the level of their understanding of the language that they are learning. I believe that our children are not just having one teacher teaching in their classroom, but they've got other teachers' support, excellent knowledge and passion which have been brought forward during this term break lesson planning.
We've started three new groups (Thursday Kinder session: 11:40am to 1:40pm; Friday Toddler session 11:10 am to 12:40pm; Friday Mixed age session: 10 to 11:30am) in two locations (Doncaster East & Malvern East) to help some more parents and children on our waiting list to start the language learning sooner. Kimmba relies on parents prompt payment to meet costs. While Kimmba is a non-profit organization that is committed to providing exceptional education for your children, we need parents commitment to support the service. Therefore, there is a late payment fee of $5 per week per child. Kimmba has the discretion to withdraw service for non-payment of fees and makes room for other children who are on our waiting list.
