Who we are
Kimmba Bilingual Learning Inc. has long established itself as the leader of bilingual early education association for family and young children since 2007. With the great demand from families seeking long term nannies or baby sitters who possess a bilingual skill, we are adding a new service to our existing playgroup setting: Kimmba Bilingual Nanny Consultancy Service. Therefore, we have several new positions available for bilingual nannies, baby sitters, with a native language skill other than English for an immediate start.
Mandarin, Spanish, German, French and Japanese Nannies and Baby Sitters
Kimmba Bilingual Nanny Consultancy Service is seeking qualified, confident, enthusiastic and experienced part time/ full time (negotiable) nannies/baby sitters who are native Mandarin, Spanish, German, French or Japanese speakers with/without Children’s Service Certificate III qualification or above with an immediate start in Eastern, South Eastern and Bayside suburbs of Melbourne.
Who we are looking for
To be considered for these positions the successful applicants will need to be
• The holder of National Police Check, Working With Children Check
• Current and valid First Aid Level 1, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates (preferred, not required)
• Native speaker of a language other than English, preferably Chinese, Spanish, German, French or Japanese speakers. (Registration for nannies who have language skills other than the ones listed above are welcome though the employment may not be guaranteed for languages other than the above listed ones)
• English proficiency or are currently studying English at a language schools or any local higher education institution
• Valid study visa or any other type of travelling/working holiday visa that will allow you to travel and work in Australia or you are an Australian permanent resident or citizen
• With an Early childhood teaching qualification either from overseas or Australia (preferred, not required)
• Experience at looking after children
• Valid International/ Australia driving licence (preferred, not required)
Also possess the following:
• Two current, professional local written references who we can contact
It would be beneficial if the applicant has experience in either Childcare, Teaching or Nursing. New Early Childhood Graduates or those still studying towards it, with native language skills of any of the above mentioned languages, are strongly encouraged to apply.
Kimmba encourages nannies and baby sitters to undertake professional development and there are opportunities to further on job training and a carefully designed professional path will be offered to these right candidates to our newly established Kimmba Bilingual Nanny Consultancy.
What you will get from the Consultancy
• Free registration (Registration for nannies who have language skills other than the ones listed above are welcome though the job opportunity would not be guaranteed for these languages. There is no job guarantee for all 'free' registered nannies)
• Only the successful candidates will then have the opportunity to publish their advertisement with Kimmba
• Administration and Website publishing of your own advertisement with Kimmba will attract additional cost
• A valuable pre-school bilingual language and nanny training course (this will be provided to these successful candidates who have got a 12 months + contract signed with the family at a small cost)
• Expert guidance through out your contract with the family, because we know and have been working with these families and their children so we will be able to help you through the process and match the right families to you so you will be able to bond with the children and have the great pleasure to educate them to communicate in your home language
• Ongoing support from our professional consultants and professional development opportunities that exists within our own bilingual educational ventures

• Hourly rate starting between $18 to $28 per hour depending on your own qualification and experience

Your Duties
• Providing the care and educating of the child/ren in your native language
• Early language learning activities
• Meal preparation, feeding & keep children clean
• Daytime indoor and outdoor routine
• Tidy up after children and some families may require you to perform light domestic duties
• Some families may need you to drive children to and from a child care centre, school or other activity centres
