Kimmba Bilingual Nanny Consultancy Service offers a personalised service to seek an experienced and suitable Bilingual Nanny to not only provides the best care for your child but also continuous bilingual learning opportunities in the comfort of your own home.

All our bilingual nannies are equipped with native target language ability combined with Early Childhood working experience and/or Early Childhood qualifications and all of them have passed our strict screening process, which involves interviews and professional nanny training sessions. We only provide bilingual nannies that have a National Police Check, Working With Children Check, and a relevant and current First Aid Certificate.

How we operate

When you seek our service, we will have in depth discussion with you to find out how we can best help and address your needs. This may involve an initial home visit for our Director to identify how we can find a good nanny who possesses the language skills of your target language and who will best fit in with your household. Kimmba specialises in providing the family with a long term (6-12 months) bilingual Nanny and providing a Nanny with a nice family, so that both the children and the Nanny can have the opportunity to bond with one another, develop mutual trust, be confident with each others company and have a sense of understanding in a bilingual home speaking environment.

Once Kimmba Bilingual Nanny Consultancy has collected all relevant background information about your family and children, then two to three suitable Bilingual Nannies will be selected based on your personal requirements. Although every care is taken, through rigorous interviewing and careful selection of suitable Nannies for your child, the final decision will ultimately be yours in choosing which Nanny to hire.

Process – Step by Step

Step 1: Fill in the “Nanny Required Form” on our website under “Family” section. Tell us what your family requirements are and what type of Nanny you are after. Most importantly, please remember to let us know what hourly rates you are happy to pay (e.g. $16 to $23 or $20 to $28) as all nannies come with different skills and specialties, besides being a native speaker of your target language.

Step 2: If you haven’t done so as yet, please go to our Registered Nanny List section, and go through our carefully selected existing Nanny list and choose 2 to 3 possible candidates. If an ideal Nanny can be found in this way, we will then arrange a meeting for our Director to visit you at your home. At this stage, the deposit of 50% of our Consultancy fee would need to be paid up front. We will then communicate with the nannies of your choice after the Director’s visit. An interview with them at your own home will then be arranged once two to three Nanny Candidates are selected. Then it would be your own decision to choose who would be the best Nanny for your child and your family. To formalise this process, the remaining 50% of our Consultancy fee would be paid in full.

Step 3: If this selection process doesn’t find you your “dream nanny”, Kimmba Bilingual Nanny Consultancy will then place an advertisement on your behalf and go through our strict interviewing processes again ( it would normally takes 4-8 weeks), until we have personally selected a handful of nannies for you to choose from. This will result in additional advertising cost.

Step 4: Once the selection of your Nanny has been formalized, we would recommend that you and the Nanny sign a contract and stay clearly that her working condition, job description, weekly working hours, pay rate, car allowance (if she is taking your child to and from activities, for example) and all other benefits and entitlements.

Fee Structures and Guarantees

Fees- We offer affordable and competitive fee structures and provide three different packages presenting the best Bilingual Nanny Consultancy Service available to suit your growing child and families’ individual needs. Please note: The Consultancy fee is in addition to the Nanny’s hourly rate.

Package 1: Yearly booking – this will allow for permanent part/full time Nanny Service arrangement at a one off low Consultancy fee, $695 per year (extra advertising fee is not included here).

Package 2: Half yearly booking – this will allow for a part/full time, weekly/fortnightly Nanny service arrangement at a one off low Consultancy fee, $375 per half year (extra advertising fee is not included here).

Please Note: The 50% of the consultancy fee is payable at the time of engaging our consultancy and the balance must be paid in full before the interview with the nannies referred by us at your home.

Package 3: On Call Booking – this is suitable for families who need more flexibility with timing, yet still provides affordable bulk booking discounts. Consultancy fee of: $35per 1 booking, $100 per 3 bookings, $200 per 7 bookings, $250 per 10 bookings or $300 for 4 months (12 bookings). Please note that there is no home visit or interview process with director or nannies for package 3 families nor would the ‘same nanny’ be guaranteed by individual bookings less than 7 bookings at a time.

Please Note: The Full booking fee of this package is payable at the time of engaging our consultancy.

Guarantees- It is our Consultancy’s responsibility to select only the best and most suited Bilingual Nanny for your needs, not only for your child’s care but also for their best possible bilingual home education that the Nanny can provide when your child is under her care. Thus our Nannies’ minimum booking hour is 3 hours for each booking. This is to guarantee that when your child spends time with the Nanny, they would have at least 3 hours together to allow for the bilingual education to take effect.

The Kimmba Bilingual Nanny Consultancy guarantees that all our nannies would have skills and methods to engage your child in fun and playful bilingual early learning activities. We are here to provide a stimulating and cheerful way of engagement through both indoor and outdoor play with your child.

The Kimmba Bilingual Nanny Consultancy endeavors to introduce to your family the most suitable Nanny Candidates within three months, from the time of your engagement of our consultancy service. However, if your family thinks the Nanny hired is not suitable within one month of commencement of working with you, for the half yearly or yearly clients and some of the package 3 (7+ booking) clients, the Consultancy will replace a new Nanny for your family for free (this free service exclude the placement of yet another new advertisement to attract more Nanny Applicants).

It is Kimmba Bilingual Nanny Consultancy’s responsibility to introduce to the appropriate Nanny Candidates to your family. However the final decision to employ a Candidate is the sole responsibility of the family. Nanny Candidates are not the employees of the Consultancy. The family is responsible for ensuring that their home contents insurance includes cover for Employers and Public Liability insurance for domestic workers, including child carer.

Cancellation Policy

It is Kimmba Bilingual Nanny Consultancy’s policy that we require at least 24 hours booking cancellation for Package 3 Families.
