Hi Kimmba mothers, fathers, grandmothers, grandfathers and children.
Hearty Congratulations to our German playgroup coordinator Doris! Doris has been awarded a “Certificate of Merit” from Playgroup Victoria for her ongoing and outstanding contribution to our German playgroup. Well done, Doris. We are all so very proud of you.
We hope you have a relaxing break and will all be refreshed for the next term. Some things about which we need to notify you, are the following.
1. The end of year concert is definitely on again this year. The date is Saturday November 26th at 10.00am (arrival) with 10.30am (start). We have found the perfect hall with comfortable, elevated seating and a walk on stage. Therefore everyone will be able to see well and no child will be able fall off the stage. There will be a rehearsal on November 18th from 4.00pm – 6.00pm, for all groups. Details closer to the time. Please mark these dates on your calendar to avoid a clash of interest and please encourage extended family and friends to attend, so they are able to be part of our certificate and awards presentation at the end. Our teachers are also working hard to collect your child’s learning story in illustrations and pictures as part of this presentation.
2. The Term 3 starting date is Monday the 18th July. Fees for next term are now due.
Baby: $150
Toddler: $200
Kinder & primary: $270
Special discounts for children attending two classes in the week still apply. Unfortunately, some fees are not being paid on time and causing time and administration problems for Marisha. It is not acceptable that she should have to chase people for money. Being a non profit organisation means we do not have paid administration staff to do this. If fees are not paid by the end of the first week of the new term, unless notification of dire circumstances, late payment charges will have to apply and after another week your child’s place will have to be given to a child on the waiting list. Help us to avoid this sort of regulation by paying promptly, but notify Marisha if there is a financial difficulty.
3. The Mandarin Friday Kinder (1-3pm), Spanish Wednesday 10:30-12 (Malvern East) and Saturday 10:30-12 (Doncaster East) are accepting enrolments now for next term. Please contact Marisha if you, or others you know, are interested.
4. The bilingual Nanny agency and the launch of new website will be available during term break.
